We take our brightest ever 'vegan glow-worm' glow-in-the-dark material, and sinter it with heat and pressure in a mixture of silica (the same substance that makes up most rocks, as well as over 90% of the earth's crust). This produces actual glow-in-the-dark stones, which are somewhere between glass and rock.

Make your flower beds glow, illuminate your bonsai trees, you can even use them in fish tanks (but wash them first).

Because they are literally rocks, they can also be cut like gemstones to produce completely unique pieces of jewellery.

Infinitely re-chargeable with no degradation. Charge them with the sun, most torches/flashlights, UV light, or even your phone torch.

The science of glows:

  • Strontium Aluminate is a molecule made from Strontium, Aluminium, and Oxygen.
  • Strontium Aluminate molecules vary in complexity, with the exact molecular composition determining the colour it emits.
  • The brightest possible molecular composition makes this shade of green - it's impossible to get a glow-in-the-dark substance that is brighter.
